Sectional staircase of the tank
The task was to design, draw up and hand over the detailed production documentation for the staircase of the large capacity double tank. We decided to refuse the traditional staircase curling, which requires difficulty of an accurate radius, causes stress and plasticity to elements and nevertheless complicates the fitting of industrial gratings steps. Thanks to the mechanical engineers' data, we have simulated the shape of the tank, on which we attached a polygonal staircase construction, on which the individual stair flights were straight. As a result, it was possible to reduce construction costs, shorten the execution time of the steel structure and maximize the repeatability of the individual structural elements. In this case, unrolled views of the tank shell have been used for assembly system drawings to make the assembly process more transparent.
